The Alabama YMCA Youth in Government Program gives teens the opportunity to learn and grow. Thousands of teens have benefited from this program and our state and communities have benefited from increased civic understanding and engagement.
The YMCA is able to lead this program because of significant contributions of time, talent, and treasure from many individuals and organizations. Here are some ways you can help:
- TIME – Volunteer your time at a conference or preparing for a conference by contacting Jessica Owens at jessicaowens@ymcamontgomery.org.
- TALENT – Program areas such as the Lobbyist, Media, and Supreme Court are led by talented adults who give their time to support these specialized groups of teens. If you would like to help in these or other program areas contact Corey Calcote at ccalcote@ymcamontgomery.org
- TREASURE – Your financial contributions help us provide a quality program regardless of student’s ability to pay. To give online click the Make a Donation Button below. To learn more about Sponsorship Opportunities contact Corey Calcote at ccalcote@ymcamontgomery.org
