YMCA Youth Judicial is a three day Mock Trial Competition for High School Students in grades 9-12.
Registration is now open for teams that have Pre-Registered.
Registration opens September 14 for teams that are Pre-Registered.
Conference Registration Fees:
Conf. Fee $270 if paid by October 3 – also Deadline for Financial Assistance Applications
Conf. Fee $285 if paid by October 12- also Online Registration Closes
Conf. Fee $315 if paid after October 12
District Meetings (no cost):
District 1 Meeting (North Alabama) September 30 – 2PM – Spain Park High School
District 2 & 3 Meeting (Cent. & Wiregrass) September 16 – 2PM – Montgomery Academy
District 4 Meeting (Gulf Coast) September 23 – 2PM – St. Paul’s School
There will be no media applications for Youth Judicial this year as we will only have a few media members participate.

Run for Office!
Those wishing to run for Chief Justice must:
- Talk to your advisor – All candidates must be approved. Clubs are limited to the number of candidates.
- Sign Up online
- Print, Complete, and bring to the District Meeting your Judicial Officer Nomination Form
Apply to be a Deputy!
Deputies assist at the conference by coordinating logistics, patrolling a floor of the courthouse, and working with the Judges, Bailiffs, and Staff to conduct a fantastic program.
Those wishing to be a deputy must:
- Talk to your advisor. All Deputies must be approved.
- Fill out the Online Deputy Application by September 30.
- Watch your email for a reply.
- Plan to attend Officer Training
- Plan to attend the Conference beginning Friday night and lasting until Monday Noon.
Volunteers are needed for several aspects of the conference. If you’re interested in volunteering, please let us know by filling out the Volunteer Form.
Conference registration fees include Supper Saturday and Lunch Sunday. Conference T-Shirts will also be given to all participants who register at least 3 weeks before the start of the conference. There is a Lost Occupancy Fee charged to delegations for any delegate hotel rooms that have less than 4 students of $60 per empty slot. Adult Private rooms are an additional $120.

Cancellation Policy for YMCA Conferences:
Delegations who have cancellations can substitute however there may be additional fees. After rooming lists have been submitted substitutions must be the same gender and role (Adult, Delegate, etc.).

15 days prior: 25% Refund
